Directory Update
The Home Owners Association governs many aspects of the community. In order to communicate to homeowners official and crucial information the HOA requires homeowners to supply official contact information. Additionally, this information is published in the Neighborhood Directory. Why?
- First, so that the HOA can contact homeowners with official correspondence.
- Second, so that we can contact you in the event of an emergency.
- Third, so that your neighbors can contact you in the event of an emergency.
- And, finally, so that you can “get to know” your neighbors. Know their names, understand who their kids are, perhaps find that your kids attend the same school. In short, to foster a sense of community.
The information provided to the HOA is never shared with anyone outside of the neighborhood. The Web site’s “Residents” section is password protected and secure. This information is for the safety of our community.
WHAT TO DO:
- Use the Online Directory Form to submit changes to your directory listing.
- Or, download, print, fill out and return the directory form in PDF format.
- And, if you get a new neighbor, please give them this Web site address and access codes and tell them to fill out the directory form. Or, even better, print the form and knock on their door, smile, introduce yourself, and explain why you’re giving them the form. At the very least, slip it into their mailbox.
For printed forms you can drop them in Anish’s mailbox at 5025 Jonquilla Drive.
PETS
Please remember:
- Pets must be on leash by law.
- Please be considerate of your neighbors. Not everyone may share your enthusiasm and love of your overly friendly animal. Some of your neighbors may, in fact, be quite frightened by them.
- Don’t let your dog bark for hours on end: It’s simply being inconsiderate and rude.
- Don’t let your dog use your neighbor’s yard as his bathroom: Again, rude.
Your neighbors are completely within their rights to call county animal control if your pet becomes a nuisance to them. - You may be subject to sanctions under the neighborhood covenants for not controlling your pets.
